Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Village Pharmacy has an immediate opening for a CPhT. Benefits include paid health insurance and PTO (for FT employees), and in-store employee discount (for all employees).
- Two years pharmacy technician experience required
- One year retail pharmacy technician experience required (independent retail preferred)
- Preferred experience: PioneerRx pharmacy operating system; Medication Synchronization; Pill Packaging Compliance program.
- Skilled in recommending OTC products to customers, including vitamins and supplements
- Knowledge of DME and Medicare Part B billing, a plus.
- Knowledge of complex pharmaceutical compounding, a plus.
- Self-motivated; takes initiative; team player
- National pharmacy technician certification preferred (or completion within probationary period)

Cashier / Customer Service Representative (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Village Pharmacy is seeking an energetic, friendly, and attentive individual to join our pharmacy team as a Cashier/Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate is a person who enjoys greeting customers, has strong attention to detail, and presents themselves in a professional manner. Must be able to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment for 8 hours at a time, and definitely must have a passion for serving others. Full-time or part-time.
Specific duties include:
- Process sales transactions at POS register
- Assist customers with over-the-counter selections
- Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff member
- Balance cash registers at end of day
- Stock retail shelves with new merchandise daily
- Clean and maintain DME rental equipment
- Tidy the point of sale area
- Organize the Will Call bin
- Build and send the daily inventory replenishment order
- Manage/reorder inventory from multiple vendors
- Confirm and process payment for delivery orders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Effective Communication
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read, write, & speak English well
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to stand & work steadily for long periods of time
- Valid NC Drivers license
- A full range of bodily motion including walk, standing, lifting, reaching, carrying bulky items, stooping, kneeling, bending at the waist, handling items, fingering items, lifting bulky objects above the waist, & grasping items daily
The standard for dress is business casual with a company provided lab coat.
Business hours: 9a.m.-6p.m. Monday-Friday, 9a.m.-2p.m. Saturday & closed Sunday
